Do you know of an apartment that takes dogs?

The annual Hutchinson Apartment guide does list some apartments that allow dogs, however you will have to call the apartment directly to see if there is a vacancy.

Do you have the Homestretch class schedule?

The Homestretch homebuyer training class is offered through the Home Ownership Center. Click here to search for a workshop to attend  or take an interactive online homebuyer education course.

Do you have any funds to help me buy a home?

MHFA does have programs available to Hutchinson homebuyers at attractive interest rates and may include entry cost assistance - see  MHFA Loan Program Information for Homebuyers and Homeowners on the MHFA website.

Home Improvement

Do you have any programs to help fix up mobile homes?

The Hutchinson HRA does administer one program, MHFA RLP. Complete the eligibility questionnaire and submit it to the Hutchinson HRA to see if you are eligible for the program.

My furnace just went out, can you help me?

The Hutchinson HRA does have some grant and low interest loan programs available to help with emergency home repairs. Complete the eligibility questionnaire and submit it to the Hutchinson HRA to see what program is right for you.

Do you have a program to help me put on an addition to my house?

Home Additions are an eligible improvement for the MHFA Fix-Up loan administered by the Hutchinson HRA – see the Home Improvements page for more program information.

Do you have a grant to help me fix my roof?

The Hutchinson HRA does have some grant and low interest loan programs available to help depending on your household’s, gross annual income. Complete the eligibility questionnaire and submit it to the Hutchinson HRA to see what program is right for you.

Rental Rehab

I own a rental property that needs new windows; do you have a program to help me?

The Downtown Rental Rehab Program is available to properties in the targeted area (shown on the Rental Rehab page) that have rents below the fair market rents and the units are occupied by low-moderate income tenants. See the Rental Rehab page for more information.
