A partnership between the HRA and Hutchinson School District was formed in 2002 to build a starter home that enhanced the school curriculum by implementing a home construction course. Seven homes have been constructed by the students. All of them have been sold. See the photos below. In 2010, the program changed from building a starter home to rehabbing an existing home.
