FAQs

What does the HRA do?

The Hutchinson HRA serves as a community resource, focusing on helping income-qualified residents improve and maintain their homes through a variety of programs.

The HRA also provides apartment and senior housing guides to those looking for a new place to live.

Who is the HRA able to assist?

To qualify for programs administered by the HRA, recipients must live within Hutchinson city limits, be a homeowner, and meet income qualifications base on household members.

Each program has an individual set of requirements, please call to see if you qualify.

What does the HRA not do?

The Hutchinson HRA does not provide rental assistance services.  Please contact:

Why does HRA exist?

Hutchinson HRA advocates for safe, healthy housing by encouraging collaboration with public private agencies to meet housing needs in Hutchinson.

Where is the HRA located?

The HRA office is located at Hutchinson City Center, 111 Hassan ST SE, Hutchinson, MN 55350.

Do you know of an apartment that takes pets?

The Hutchinson Apartment Guide may list some apartments that allow pets; however, please call the property directly to verify their pet policy and see if there is a vacancy.

Do you have the Homestretch class schedule?

What is affordable housing?
